Very friendly staff, the breakfast was excellent!

Very good value middle class hotel. Reasonable priced continental breakfast, good location, nice and friendly personal, clean rooms. Not very soundproofed small rooms though.

This hotel offers very good value for money, being in a convenient location and a good level of comfort. We just needed somewhere to sleep for a night within walking distance from the barbican and this hotel was ideal. It is also walking distance from Liverpool Street station. The staff were friendly and attentive and the breakfast was a buffet style with a decent selection. I appreciated that mugs and take away cups were provided at the coffee machine. We chose the cheapest twin room which was on the basement level with no windows, but this was not a problem and meant there was no noise from traffic or early morning light to wake us up. The room was fairly basic but comfortable.

Really positive stay at Point A Hotel Shoreditch. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We were in London for an event on the Saturday, so it was a great base for us, convenient, straightforward and perfect for a short stay.Everything did exactly what we needed it to, and we had a comfortable night. I’d happily stay again when visiting this part of London.

Really enjoyable stay We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at Point A Hotel near the Barbican. The rooms are small and fairly basic, probably similar in size and standard to the easy rooms in some other hotels, but this hotel was so much more thought out and cleverly designed. It honestly felt ten times better. The lighting in the room was really cool and created a great atmosphere, which my teenage son loved. We had originally booked a double room but at the last minute they kindly changed it to two single beds for us, which was really appreciated. The shower was powerful and lovely and hot. The bathroom was plain but perfectly clean and functional and we genuinely couldn't find any faults. The room was clean, modern and the air conditioning was amazing, especially after a warm day in London. We had a window in our room which didn't open but did tilt slightly. We didn't hear any noise from other rooms or outside either, which was great. We walked back from the Barbican at about half past ten at night and felt completely safe. The area was well lit and felt very comfortable to walk around. The staff were friendly and helpful and overall the hotel had a really nice modern feel. My only slight gripe was the breakfast. It was continental rather than a cooked breakfast and personally I do prefer a cooked breakfast, but that's just me. It certainly didn't take anything away from the hotel or our stay. Overall, we really enjoyed it.

The room was perfect. For guests who are used to AC happy to report our room was cool and comfortable. We didn’t eat in the hotel because there is the cutest most casual place selling breakfast just across the street.

Great location Air conditioning was a plus.

The room was very clean and well presented. Staff were helpful and welcoming.

We had a really lovely stay at Point A Hotel Shoreditch. I stayed there for four nights together with my four year old son. We were there during a heatwave, and the aircon in the room was lovely. The hotel was nice and clean and in a nice neighbourhood, not too far away from the city centre. The breakfast was nice too.
