Welcome to Point A’s Accessibility Guide. We are committed to ensuring that all guests, regardless of their abilities, enjoy a comfortable and inclusive experience at our hotels. This guide provides information about the accessibility features and services we offer to make your visit as enjoyable as possible.

Physical Accessibility: 

Entrance and Exits: 

  • All Point A Hotels have accessible entrances and exits with automatic doors. 

  • Kensington and Liverpool Street hotels provide stair lift access. 

  • At Kings Cross, an alternative accessible entrance is available and clearly signposted near the main entrance, on the corner of the building. 

Parking: 

There is no on-site parking available at our hotels. Guests are encouraged to use nearby public or accessible parking facilities. Please contact the hotel directly for recommendations. 

Interior Spaces: 

All hotels offer accessible restrooms and wide corridors to accommodate wheelchair users. Public areas are designed to allow easy navigation. 

Restrooms: 

Accessible restrooms are located at ground level or accessible via lift. They include grab bars, lowered sinks, and emergency pull cords. 

Visual and Hearing Accessibility: 

Signage: 

Clear, high-contrast signage is available throughout our hotels. Braille signage is not currently available. 

Lighting: 

All public areas are equipped with LED lighting and motion sensors to ensure consistent visibility. 

Contrast and Colour: 

High-contrast colours are used for key signage and information points to support guests with visual impairments. 

Hearing and visual Alerts:

In all accessible rooms, we provide battery powered vibrating pillows, as well as a flashing light that is activated when the fire alarms are activated. 

Services and Amenities: 

Communication: 

Our website features a chatbot to assist with enquiries. Each hotel also has a direct phone line for speaking with staff. 

Accessible Accommodations: 

Accessible rooms include:

  • Roll-in showers 

  • Grab bars 

  • Lowered sinks 

  • Emergency pull cords 

Dining: 

Breakfast options include gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian, and non-dairy milk alternatives at no extra cost. Our Parnell Street hotel also offers an all-day dining menu with a range of vegan and vegetarian dishes. 

Assistance and Support: 

Staff Training: 

All employees complete CPD-accredited compliance training on accessibility upon joining. Training is delivered via our Learning Management System and refreshed regularly. 

Service Animals: 

Assistance dogs are welcome at all our hotels. 

Feedback and Suggestions: 

Guests are encouraged to share feedback via our end-of-stay survey or by contacting our team directly. 

Website Accessibility and Tech Compatibility: 

We are committed to making our digital platforms accessible to all users. Our website is designed to meet WCAG 2.2 AA standards, ensuring compatibility with:

  • Mobile and tablet devices 

  • Major browsers including Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge
