At Point A, we care - about our planet, our communities, and the people behind our story. We’re committed to sustainability at every location and have a sustainability action plan.
When you stay with us, you can expect a visit that reflects our respect for the environment and the communities where we operate.
Here are a few things we have already achieved on our sustainability journey:
Planet
The climate crisis is by far the biggest global challenge facing humanity. It is happening quickly and requires immediate action. We are working to better understand our impact on the environment and take steps to ensure that what we do has the Earth’s best interests at heart. X hotels have green roofs to boost biodiversity, four hotels have solar panels producing around XXX kWh per year. X hotels are electric only.
All hotels have:
- Recycling and food waste separation (where F+B is there)
- Energy monitoring
- Waste monitoring
- Eco-friendly toiletries with Element_RY
- Energy efficient appliances and LED lighting
- Sustainable certifications in progress (BREEAM + Green Tourism)
- Vegan and vegetarian breakfast offering
- Annual celebration of Earth Day
- Rentable umbrellas from DripDrop, made from recycled water bottles – contributed to planting 1m trees
Places / Communities
Our businesses are part of the fabric of their neighbourhoods. We partner with local businesses, provide employment opportunities to residents and offer personal hospitality experiences to those who live, work and visit the community.

Since 2024 we’ve been partnering with charities that are local to our sites to support homelessness and people facing difficult times.
Our Charity Partners
London:
In 2024, we chose to start a three-year partnership with St Mungo’s homeless charity. We know there is a big need and the charity aligned with our own business, as the provider of accommodation.
Partnership with St Mungo’s homeless charity – £45,667 raised since 2024.
25 employees volunteered a total of 129 hours for St Mungo’s.
Donation encouraged upon check-ins.
Dublin
Since 2025, we partnered our Dublin sites with Focus Ireland, so far we’ve raised £XXXX and volunteered XX hours.
Scotland
Since 2024 we’ve partnered with Right There to support vulnerable people who need help through the cost of living crisis.
